Managed ecommerce hosting for WooCommerce and PrestaShop, on servers we run.

Managed ecommerce hosting, from the people who also fix the store. Your WooCommerce or PrestaShop store runs on a dedicated server we manage, in Europe or the US, with caching set up around the cart and checkout, updates applied on a schedule, daily backups and a monthly report. From $395 a month, no minimum term.

The problem

A store does not stay fast on its own. Plugins and modules update, traffic shifts, someone installs something new, and a store tuned once and then left alone is slow again within a year. Generic hosting cannot help with that: it sees a PHP process using too much CPU and offers a bigger plan, while the cause is a plugin querying every page or a module running a heavy query nobody noticed. The server and the store have to be looked after by the same people.

What you get

  • Hosting on a dedicated server we manage, in Europe or the US. No shared hosting, no overselling.
  • Caching set up around your cart and checkout, and a CDN when your store needs one.
  • Uptime and security monitoring.
  • Platform, plugin and module updates applied on a schedule.
  • Daily backups.
  • A monthly report on how your store is doing: your Google speed scores, load times, what changed and why.

By platform

Managed WooCommerce hostingObject and full-page caching with correct cart and checkout exclusions; WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates; the boring reasons WooCommerce gets slow, fixed on a server we control.
Managed PrestaShop hostingSmarty caching and PrestaShop's performance settings configured properly; PrestaShop and module updates; heavy modules found and fixed instead of hidden behind a bigger server.

How you start

  1. Technical Review, $750. Fixed price, 3 business days from receipt of access. We go through your code, database and server and send you written findings ranked by business impact, including whether your store can move onto our servers as it is.
  2. The move, or a rescue first. If it can move, we move it and your plan starts. If it needs work first, the review comes with a fixed quote for a Store Rescue, and the $750 is credited against it. Every rescue ends on one of the two plans, with our guarantee: a mobile Lighthouse Performance score of 80 or more within 30 days of the rescue being finished, or the next month is free.
  3. Month to month. Cancel any month. Your code stays in your repository and your credentials stay yours.

Questions

How much does managed ecommerce hosting cost?

The hosting is part of both monthly plans. Monitoring is from $395/month: the server, uptime and security monitoring, platform, plugin and module updates, daily backups and a monthly report. Managed Engineering adds engineering hours, performance tuning and small fixes, from $950/month depending on your store's revenue. No minimum term on either.

Which platforms do you host?

WooCommerce and PrestaShop stores, and custom PHP. Not Shopify. We host the stores we maintain, so every store on our servers is one we have reviewed and can read.

Where are the servers?

Dedicated servers we manage ourselves, in Europe and the US. No shared hosting, no overselling. A CDN is added when your store needs one, not sold by default.

Can I move my store today?

Every store starts with a $750 Technical Review, which tells us whether your store can move onto our servers as it is. If it can, we move it and your plan starts. If it needs work first, the review comes with a fixed quote for a Store Rescue and the $750 is credited against it. Nobody goes straight onto a plan.

Is there a minimum term?

No contract, no minimum term, no notice period. Cancel any month. Your code stays in your repository and your credentials stay yours the entire time.

What is the difference between this and a normal host?

A normal host runs the server and stops at the PHP process. When a store is slow or down the cause is almost always inside the store, and the host's answer is a bigger plan. We run the server and we read the store: when a module or plugin runs a heavy query on every page, we open it and fix it. The monthly report shows you the result in Google's own speed scores.
