WooCommerce / PrestaShop speed optimization. Lighthouse 80+ in 30 days or the next month is free.

A slow store is a store losing orders on phones. We find what is actually slowing yours down, quote a fixed price to fix it, fix it, and then keep it fast on a server we run. Measured by Google's own tools, guaranteed in writing.

How it works

Step 1$750

Speed Audit

Fixed price. 3 business days from receipt of access. We go through your code, database, server and settings and measure your speed the way Google does. You get written findings ranked by business impact, and the fixed quote for the fix. Nothing is quoted before we have seen the code. Credited in full against the Speed Fix if you proceed.

Step 2from $2,500

Speed Fix

In most stores the audit finds the same things: software that hasn't been updated in years, settings nobody tuned, and caching that was never set up properly around the cart and checkout. The fix brings the software up to date and sets the store up right. The exact price is in your audit, before you commit, so there are no surprises later. From 7 working days, depending on what needs doing. 50% on start, 50% on delivery, with the $750 audit taken off.

Step 3from $395/month

Monitoring

After the fix your store runs on a dedicated server we manage: uptime and security monitoring, platform, plugin and module updates, daily backups and a monthly report with your Google speed scores. Month to month, no minimum term. It is part of every fix, because running on our server is what lets us guarantee the speed.

Guarantee: if your store doesn't reach a mobile Lighthouse Performance score of 80 or more within 30 days of the fix being finished, the next month is free.

What "80 or more" means

Lighthouse Performance is Google's 0-to-100 speed score for a page, and it is what Core Web Vitals are built on. We measure it on a phone, through Google's PageSpeed Insights from a US test location: the median of three consecutive runs on your home page, your top category and your top product page. A baseline is captured before any change, using the same method, so you can see exactly what moved. Third-party scripts added after handover (analytics, chat, pixels, review widgets, A/B tools) are excluded, because they run outside our control.

Want to see where you stand now? Run Google's speed test on your store: it takes about 30 seconds.

Why stores are slow

It is almost never the theme. A WooCommerce store is usually slow because of wp_options autoload bloat, plugins running queries on every page load, an unindexed wp_postmeta, full-page caching that was never configured around the cart, and a host that oversold the machine. A PrestaShop store is usually slow because of a module running a heavy query on every page, Smarty caching misconfigured, or combination and layered-navigation queries that grew with the catalog. Underneath both: software versions years behind. More on the WooCommerce and PrestaShop pages.

What a Speed Fix is not

It is not a redesign and it is not a rebuild. If the audit shows your store needs more than a speed fix (a broken upgrade, abandoned modules, a database that has never been tuned), you get a fixed quote for a Store Rescue instead, and we tell you why. Either way you decide with the findings in hand.

What speed is worth

The best-known study on speed and sales, by Deloitte for Google, found that making a retail site's mobile pages 0.1 seconds faster brought 8.4% more orders on average. Our work moves load time by seconds: on Kozelj.net the main content went from 15 to 23 seconds to about 2, and the mobile score from 41 to 94 (see Results, both stores are online to test). We won't tell you what your lift will be; we measure your baseline in the audit and report the same numbers every month afterwards, so you watch it move in your own data.
