Managed WooCommerce hosting, on servers we run ourselves.

Managed WooCommerce hosting from people who fix slow WooCommerce stores for a living. Your store runs on a dedicated server we manage, in Europe or the US, with caching set up around your cart and checkout, updates applied, daily backups and a monthly report. From $395 a month, no minimum term.

The problem

Most hosts can run WooCommerce. Few can tell you why your store is slow on their server. When it is, a generic host sees a PHP process using too much CPU and offers a bigger plan. The real causes are inside the store: wp_options autoload bloat, plugins running queries on every page load, an unindexed wp_postmeta, full-page caching that was never configured around the cart. Hosting that does not understand those is just a more expensive place to be slow.

What you get

  • Hosting on a dedicated server we manage, in Europe or the US. No shared hosting, no overselling.
  • Object caching and full-page caching with correct cart and checkout exclusions, and a CDN when your store needs one.
  • Uptime and security monitoring.
  • WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates applied on a schedule.
  • Daily backups.
  • A monthly report on how your store is doing: your Google speed scores, load times, what changed and why.

How you start

  1. Technical Review, $750. Fixed price, 3 business days from receipt of access. We go through your code, database and server and send you written findings ranked by business impact, including whether your store can move onto our servers as it is.
  2. The move, or a rescue first. If it can move, we move it and your plan starts. If it needs work first, the review comes with a fixed quote for a Store Rescue, and the $750 is credited against it. Every rescue ends on one of the two plans, with our guarantee: a mobile Lighthouse Performance score of 80 or more within 30 days of the rescue being finished, or the next month is free.
  3. Month to month. Cancel any month. Your code stays in your repository and your credentials stay yours.

Why we host what we maintain

We can't keep a store fast and safe on a server we don't control. Plugins update, traffic shifts, someone installs something new. A store tuned once and then left alone is slow again within a year. Hosting the stores we look after is what lets us put the speed in writing.

Questions

How much does managed WooCommerce hosting cost?

The hosting is part of both monthly plans. Monitoring is from $395/month: the server, uptime and security monitoring, WordPress, WooCommerce and plugin updates, daily backups and a monthly report. Managed Engineering adds engineering hours, performance tuning and small fixes, from $950/month depending on your store's revenue. No minimum term on either.

Where are the servers?

Dedicated servers we manage ourselves, in Europe and the US. No shared hosting, no overselling. Your store goes on the side of the Atlantic your customers are on, and we add a CDN when your store needs one.

Can I move my store onto your servers today?

Every store starts with a $750 Technical Review, which among other things tells us whether your store can move as it is. If it can, we move it and your plan starts. If it needs work first (an old version, a broken update, abandoned plugins), the review comes with a fixed quote for a Store Rescue and the $750 is credited against it.

Why not just a bigger plan at my current host?

Because a slow WooCommerce store is rarely slow for lack of CPU. It is autoload bloat, plugins querying every page, an unindexed wp_postmeta and caching that was never set up around the cart. A bigger plan hides that for a while at a higher monthly price. We fix the cause and then host the result on a server we control.

Is there a minimum term?

No contract, no minimum term, no notice period. Cancel any month. Your code stays in your repository and your credentials stay yours the entire time.

Do you set up the caching?

Yes. Object caching and full-page caching are set up with correct cart and checkout exclusions, so cached pages are fast and the cart still works. Caching set up wrong is one of the commonest reasons a WooCommerce store is slow or broken, so we do not leave it to a plugin's defaults.
